New Citroen C3 Revealed

Citroen has revealed the New Citroen C3 According to Citroen, the new C3 gets a ‘Sportier’ design and a more robust appearence. The Citroen C3 is scheduled to launch at Frankfurt in September – together with its ‘Posh’ sibling  the DS3 – and Citroen claim it has a number of ‘Creative Technologie’ elements including the ‘Unique’ windscreen – VisioDrive – which is extended in to the roof area to create a panorama.

Nissan Leaf tops 100,000 sales

Nissan has delivered the 100,000th Leaf to a customer in the U.K., reaching a milestone for the pure electric car that seems to be leaving other EVs in its wake. Now, the pure electric Leaf is on sale in 35 countries on four continents, and it has captured 45 percent market share for pure electric vehicles. Amy Eichenberger of Charlottesville, Va., was the 99,999th Nissan Leaf buyer, picking out a Glacier White example at her local dealership for her 10-mile daily commute.

Honda expands recall for faulty headlights

Honda is expanding a recall launched in March to fix a headlight problem to include the Civic and Pilot. About 820,000 vehicles have been added to the recall, which now covers 2002-2003 Civic sedans and 2004-2005 Pilot SUVs. The problem is with the headlight-wiring system, which could cause the low beams not to work.
